Enduro MTB World Cup in Morillon

A summer highlight in the heart of the Grand Massif: from 14 to 16 August 2026, Morillon hosts a round of the UCI Enduro World Cup (WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series). Just fifteen minutes from Lodge Le Chamois, it's the perfect chance to watch the world's best mountain bikers in action during your holiday.

A World Cup round on our doorstep

Enduro is the most spectacular format of mountain biking: timed downhill special stages mixing wet roots, rocky sections and tight turns, linked by transfer sections ridden at your own pace. The trails wind between Morillon, La Rivière-Enverse, Samoëns and Les Carroz. Around 250 professional riders and 350 amateurs are expected, and organisers are planning for close to 20,000 spectators, an event village, concerts and family activities. This is already the second time Morillon has hosted the event.

A special stage crosses Les Carroz on 16 August

Good news for our guests: on 16 August, one special stage runs through the Les Carroz sector. Spectators can watch the riders from the paragliding take-off or the Crêtes drag lift, with sweeping views over the area. Bring good shoes, water and sunscreen: following enduro means a bit of walking to reach the best vantage points, but the atmosphere at the trailside is well worth it.

Following the race from the Lodge

Ideally located in Les Carroz at 1,140 m, the Lodge is a perfect base camp for this sporting weekend — Morillon is about fifteen minutes away down the valley. Between spectator runs, enjoy the Les Carroz Bike Park to ride the Grand Massif trails yourself, then unwind in the terrace's Nordic bath. And on 24 August, the sport continues with the Tour de l'Avenir time trial starting in Les Carroz.
